I played an integral part in the concept and execution for the launch of Stylus, a private label brand at JC Penney. I spearheaded fabric, trim, and silhouette development. Stylus is an answer to the rise of the WFH lifestyle and the need for versatile staples that women could wear every day to seamlessly transition from one event to another.
Comfort in fit and fabric was paramount, luxe fabrications were chosen and relaxed, but tailored silhouettes were designed.
I led the brand launch while continuing my position as senior designer for Xersion, JC Penney’s private label women’s activewear brand.
