While leading JC Penney’s women’s activewear brand, Xersion, I was an integral part of launching their new lifestyle brand, Stylus.
Stylus was an all-new “styleisure” apparel line designed to comfortably elevate your everyday.
Stylus enables customers to dress effortlessly without sacrificing comfort or style. The brand provides the looks the customers is craving in their multifaceted daily lives, whether working from home or in the office, shopping, preparing for the holiday season, or virtually meeting up with friends.
Elevated, luxe fabrics are the foundation of the brand. Sandwashed pique, brushed low-gauge jersey, structured scuba, and modal French Terry embodied the soft comfort yet put-together ethos of the brand.
Season to season, the color palette exudes a modern tone, with grounding essential colors that seamlessly carry into any season with thoughtful seasonal accent colors.
An important aspect while developing the brand was to ensure that all pieces worked together to create multiple outfits. We conducted many exercises to check each style had the appropriate fit and proportions that would work with the corresponding styles to make styling easy and effortless.
